On-Call Direct Care Worker

Salary Range:$13.73 To $18 Annually

Position Summary

We are seeking caring, reliable, and dedicated Home Caregivers to join our growing team. You will provide hands-on assistance and support to clients under the guidance of Shepherd’s Hands Home Care policies, MDHHS guidelines, and training programs.

 Requirements

• Minimum age: 18
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Reliable transportation (to  travel to client homes)
• Ability to pass a background check and Michigan central registry check
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Compassionate, patient, and trustworthy
• Ability to lift and assist clients (up to 50 lbs)
• Preferred: Experience in home care, senior care, or personal care services
• Minimum high school diploma; must be over the age of 18
• Valid Michigan driver’s license, three (3) years of driving experience, and must have own vehicle at work, vehicle insurance and registration
• Flexibility, knowledge of basic housekeeping skills
